“National Archaeological Parks and Sites in the Republic of Albania”
It is published the Legislation of the
Cultural Heritage “National Archaeological Parks and Sites in the
Republic of Albania” in which is approved:
- Law for the Cultural Heritage and for the Museums.
- Law for Archaeological Parks and Sites, where the National Park of
Butrint is considered “Cultural property of humanity protected from
UNESCO”
- Law for archaeological sites in the urban centres of Shkodra,
Lezha, Kruja, Durrësi, Elbasani, Berati, Vlora, and Saranda.
- Law for the archaeological borders and administration system of
the archaeological parks of Shkodra, Lezha, Apollonia, Bylisi,
Amantia, Orikumi, Antigonea, Phoinike, and Butrinti. The rules for
the administration system of the archaeological parks aim to the
definition of archaeological borders and the administration system
of the archaeological parks such as Shkodra, Lezha, Apollonia,
Bylisi, Amantia, Orikumi, Antigonea dhe Phoinike.
By way of these rules, terms for the administration of
archaeological parks have been defined:
“AP” (albanian: “PA”) are Archaeological Parks, Shkodra, Lezha,
Apollonia, Bylisi, Amantia, Orikumi, Antigonea, Phoinike, and
Butrinti.
“ACOAP” (albanian: “ZAKPA”) is the Administration and Coordination
Office of Archaeological Parks which is responsible for the
administration and management of the archaeological parks of Shkodra,
Lezha, Apollonia, Bylis, Amantia, Orikumi, Antigonea and Phoinike
according to the proper borders.
“NBAP” (albanian: “BKPA”) is the National Board of Archaeological
Parks which create, inspect and approve the strategy, and coordinate
with projects and protection programs the progress and the
administration of the archaeological parks.
In addition it was decided the extension of the protected area of
the ancient city of Apollonia.
In alternative, the archaeological site of Phoinike was declared
cultural property, cultural monument, and under the government
protection. |
